I have to admit that noise is a guilty pleasure of mine. In small doses, I find it to be, strange as it may seem, oddly calming, therapeutic even. I particularly like this album because the harsh noise is to the forefront, with the more melodic/classical elements hidden in the background. Over time, the brain learns to unpick the brash façade.
